Anthony Davidson – Karting; Genk 1996

by admin on June 17, 2010

Karting Formula A Championships 1996 - Genk, Belgium This is an excellent piece of footage of an excellent win; Anthony Davidson in his Fullerton kart - a shining example that Ant's always been a total racer and not merely a driver. Watch as he's punted off the track from 1st to 5th in this race at Genk - only to make an amazing fightback to take victory. See more great Anthony Davidson stuff at www.antdavidson.com Enjoy this superb clip :)

Anthony Davidson is a fast driver.
However, he doesn’t have the chance to get on a fast machine.
I wish his luck!!

Sandro Mara kicked ass. I drove karts for Mike Wilson in america. The same chassis manufacturer as Alonso, Mara, Richard Antinucci, and Andre Nicastro

SandroM0077 January 9, 2009 at 6:29 pm

You drove for Mike ? how many international races you won ?

DLFerrariFan January 9, 2009 at 9:03 pm

I only ran in america. I raced JICA for one year, and then Formula Y and a couple other classes in WKA with the North American distributor of MW. I was actually on the cover of the November ‘97 issue of National Kart news. Are you Sandro Mara??

SandroM0077 January 10, 2009 at 8:51 am

Yes i am. Whats your name ? and why you say “kicked ass” , we drove toghether sometimes ?

you must agree, those speed along the bumpy parts of the track takes skill, and it looks amazing!

TheTheprofessional53 September 3, 2009 at 8:24 pm

True stuff mate, ive karted for 8 years and they really are the purest racing machines in the world, not shitty power steering or any type of electronic interface between u and tha road, all skill on a bumpy track

sdutango September 28, 2009 at 5:41 pm

and it’s an extremely tired sport.

Solace2 February 24, 2010 at 4:03 pm

Ant should have gotten a better shot in F1. I don’t think he would have ever been world champion, but he deserved a longer career.
