how much does one of those demons cost.

burgerstien January 6, 2008 at 3:23 am

They are not expensive,we buy second hand karts for the dirt and put good motors on them and are racing from between $600 & $1000 australia dollars.one of the cheapest motosports i now of.
cheers

rikuwillkillu November 17, 2008 at 12:08 am

what the fuck why is the kt mounted on the left side?

WilliamsRacingWA95 December 23, 2008 at 3:11 am

because the karts turn left all the time it puts weight onto the left side of the kart helping the kart to turn left easier

rikuwillkillu December 24, 2008 at 5:30 am

oh i see =p

fleaboy46 February 20, 2009 at 2:46 am

This is sick I come from New Zealand and I did a bit of Karting over here and I am a big speedway fan this would be a awsome sport to start back here as it would be alot cheaper than Road racing

dillonbf February 22, 2009 at 1:08 am

Wouldn’t it be better if you had an offset chassis, (seat towards the left side) And the motor on the right, With a big right rear and a smaller left rear? I race a KT 100 on dirt ovals and that’s how we run them.

WilliamsRacingWA95 February 22, 2009 at 11:46 am

yeh prob would i dont actually race these i race junior sedans WA 95 !!!!

hydrokort June 13, 2009 at 6:41 pm

wouldn’t be easier just turn right all the times :P

A motorsport in which a car is sliding lateraly through a turn of a series of turns. During a drift (not a powerslide), the front wheels are pointing in the opposite direction of the turn (example: Front wheels pointing left during a right hand turn). Drifting takes place under total control of the vehicle. Drifting is the slowest way around a corner because of the extra friction on the wheels slows the vehicle down (friction=slow).

skaterk1dz September 18, 2009 at 8:31 pm

yea uhh you the guys racing in here could probably shave off a few seconds by not sliding so much…although i know it is fun to drift i do it all the time… but yea if your in it for competition you are best off trying to power slide as little as possible…let alone drift

kartkid79 October 28, 2009 at 3:04 am

Nice, looks like a lot of fun, try an offset chassis, that would be fun to set up.

051ner December 17, 2009 at 8:48 pm

offset chassis makes very little difference if u modify or seat to the very left u get better traction, by having the engine on the left u have limited room to move your seat across due to engine chain and so forth, my left seat stay is vertical and the right one leans over heaps cause the seat is so far over to get most of my body weight over the left rear, but to a point u must slide speedway karts other wise u wouldnt make it around some of the tracks we race and some are just very loose

MrPoopymann January 16, 2010 at 3:16 am

this is not drifting itz sliding on dirt , get that shit on cement then i’ll watch ur videos

blacls March 6, 2010 at 4:10 pm
