Decided to swap my little 5.5HP Honda engine for a 16HP vanguard twin cylinder Briggs and Stratton. All of this took basically a night and a day. Needs a better pull start, and a muffler of course... which will increase speed. Pretty good overall since it was sitting on a shelf for over a year.

@alexd8473 he doesnt have a clutch. notice when his friend pull starts the cart it immediately takes off.
What’s it like to pull-start that engine? I have one, but, I’ve only ever used the electric starter.
the clutch is just sensitive
see thats a go kart some people make giant almost car like things and call them 16hp go karts
gear it up u have the power to drive it to 3x the speed its goin now
